Far East

“I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.”
- Robert Frost (1874 – 1963)
Life is a projekt. Where will your projekt diverge?

The local artist was ready for me. Please note the Canadian pin on his jacket. What are the odds?

He personalized the painting with my family name.

The Chinese have a saying, 不到長城非好漢, roughly meaning "you're not a real man if you haven't climbed the Great Wall"

I felt very manly going up these steps. Some were 15” heights down to 2”.

Locks and more locks.

18 oz. waxed cotton canvas and the Great Wall go together like peas and carrots.

Neat little house of flags.

These lookout stations were super cool.

I don’t know who styled this lions hair...but it looked fierce for sure.

Even the smallest details of the Forbidden City are sweet.

The wall art was even cooler.

The birds nest…a fitting title for this Olympic building.

Back to Hong Kong

There wasn't a single color missing from the Nathan Road.

Bags are packed.  Time to go.
